Position:   Sales Vice President (NOC 00014)

Location:   Cambridge, ON

Salary:       $48 hourly for 30 to 35 hours per week

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent, Day, Morning

About the Team and Role:

BoMET is a specialist in the sourcing, processing and supply of Scrap Metals, Secondary Metals, Master Alloys, and Pure Metals based in Cambridge, Ontario. We are seeking for a full-time Sales Vice President to join us.

 

As the Sales Vice President, you will report directly to the President and your primary responsibility is to lead our sales function with the purpose of the company’s strategic goals. You lead the development, management, and implementation of the overall marketing strategy, roadmap, and initiatives. You also lead our growing, cross-functional Sales Team with a results-oriented approach while fostering an environment of creativity and collaboration.

Education

A university degree or college diploma in business administration, marketing, finance and economics, etc.

 

Experience and skills required

  • At least 7 years of experience in management of sales, trade, marketing or similar business services industry

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work as a team player

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high -performing team 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing recruiting sales personnel

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets

  • Identifying new sales opportunities and building client relationships

  • Setting sales targets and forecasting sales volumes

  • Ensuring timely recognition and reward for top achievers and implementing performance management actions when needed

  • Leading the team and inspiring high performance by providing strong mentorship, coaching, and guidance

  • Building strong and collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders

  • Analyzing sales performance data and implementing strategies for improvement

  • Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor analysis

  • Collaborating with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs
