Seeking an experienced child care provider for busy pre-school aged child. Full time, 5 days per week while single mother is at work.
Provide loving care, nourishing meals, encouragement and discipline in line with parents instructions. Care for her well-being. Keep records of meals and daily acitivities . Accompany her to lessons and playgrounds. Assist her with learning crafts, art, numbers, alphabet, reading, writing and playtime.
The position is open to all applicants in Canada. English speaking is a required.
First Aid courses are a bonus.

Job Description
Amanda Strong & Family are looking for a permanent full-time Child Caregiver to look after their child at their residence in Port Moody, BC
Child Caregiver will be required to perform following duties:
• Supervise, accompany, and care for our kid at our own residence
• Take child to and from school and appointments
• Prepare children for rest periods
• Arrange bath, dress and food for the child
• Plan, prepare and serve meals for child
• Perform other housekeeping duties related to child cares, including washing the child’s clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas
• Oversee activities of the child, such as meals and rest periods
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Instruct children about personal hygiene
• Tend to the emotional well-being of the child and support his social development
• Discipline according to the methods requested by the us (parents)
• Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding our kid.
Caregiver requirements
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• At least 1 year of related experience is required OR Completion of at least 6 months or longer training program in child care or in a related field is required.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Caring, soft spoken
• Drug and smoke-free environment
Benefits
• Free of cost in home accommodation can be provided, if needed. This is not the requirement of employment. We may help in finding suitable accommodation nearby, if needed.
• The job is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Days off: Saturday and Sunday.
• 10 days paid vacations in addition to paid sick leave.
