Busy Boys Electrical supplies home automation and fire alarm installation in a variety of occupancies. Busy Boys Electrical is class A certified electrical contracting company that can provide electrical work including high voltage substations in British Columbia, Canada. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is full time, we offer competitive wages, benefits and a fast-paced team work oriented environment.

Wage: $ 27.00/hour (40 hours per week)
Work Experience: 2 years experience
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.

Job Duties:
• Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures and review evaluate and implement new procedures as office requires.
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of department providing a single administrative service or several administrative services.
• Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
• Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests
• Co-ordinate and plan for office services
• Plan, administer and control budgets for contracts, equipment and supplies.
• Conduct analyze and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting and project planning and management processes.
• Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
• Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and corresponds.
Job Requirement;
Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Experience editing and creating documents with Adobe Acrobat.
Ability to operate basic office equipment such as copiers, scanners, printers, multi-line phone system.
Understanding of and competency using computerized accounting systems such as QB (preferred).
Good organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, must be able to deal with the public in a positive and pleasant manner.
Willing to learn, not afraid to ask questions and desire to progress into higher level positions as they become available.
General reception duties:
Answering the office phone, taking messages, directing calls.
Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist in invoice filing.
Lease with vendors on invoice discrepancy items
Manage the company vehicle pool, control the keys, gas cards, ensure proper sign-out procedures are followed.
Other duties as required.
