We are a Surrey-based family seeking a caring, reliable, and professional Nanny to support our home and provide attentive, high-quality care for our 6-month-old baby boy. The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys working with infants, understands early childhood development and age-specific milestones, and can create a warm, nurturing, and structured environment. In this role, you will guide our baby’s daily routine, support his developmental growth, and engage him in meaningful, age-appropriate sensory and learning activities. Salary: $20.00 per hour

What You Will Do

• Provide attentive, responsible, and nurturing care to the baby at all times, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
• Establish and maintain a consistent daily routine including feeding, nap times, playtime, and other scheduled activities.
• Support the baby’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs through age-appropriate interaction, sensory play, tummy time, music, reading, and early learning activities.
• Prepare and feed bottles, introduce solid foods as appropriate, and ensure proper hygiene during all feeding routines.
• Change diapers, support bathing routines, and maintain overall infant hygiene and comfort.
• Monitor developmental progress and respond to cues promptly and gently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment, keeping baby-related areas organized and tidy.
• Wash, sterilize, and organize baby bottles, feeding supplies, toys, and other infant-related items.
• Manage light housekeeping duties related to infant care such as laundry, tidying the nursery, and cleaning up after activities.
• Take full responsibility for the baby’s care in the parents’ absence to ensure a secure and consistent environment.
• Communicate with parents daily regarding feeding, sleep patterns, moods, milestones, and any concerns.
• Perform other related infant-care duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Completion of secondary school.
• At least one year of hands-on childcare experience or formal training in a childcare-related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral communication.
• Ability to work calmly, patiently, and with genuine care.
• Sound judgement and intuitiveness in childcare situations.
• Ability to manage tasks independently while staying organized and dependable.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Cooperative, team-player attitude.
• Flexibility to adapt to routine changes and the child’s needs.
