Company Summary: Island Wide Painting is a family-owned painting service company operating since 2004. We offer interior and exterior-related painting services, mainly for commercial and residential spaces.
We are currently looking for 2 dedicated and competent Painter Helpers to join our team to offer support on various painting projects and assignments to ensure they are executed in an excellent, safe and timely manner.

Job Summary:
The Painter Helper should be available to provide assistance and support to trained and experienced professional painters and work under their direction and supervision. They will be responsible for tasks such as preparing the location for painting, organizing supplies and other painting tasks as instructed. The ideal candidate is a quick learner and can receive and recall verbal instructions in English. Physical capacity to perform all assigned work is a must as the position is labour intensive and may involve heavy lifting, repetitive motions, and safe use of equipment.

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full Time, Long Term
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Wages: $20.00 per hour
Overtime: One and one-half times the regular wage rate as per provincial regulations
Location of Work: Various on-site locations
Anticipated Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible
