Industrial Butcher

IMAGOH Foods Ltd. is a Food processing plant and import food products distributor. We process and produce foods to the best of our ability for customers’ satisfaction.  IMAGOH Foods Ltd. has developed into a gigantic supplier providing over 2000 products grocery imported from China, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore and Vietnamese to various local supermarkets, restaurants, wholesalers and convenient stores mainly in Ontario and Quebec provinces of Eastern Canada.  We are currently hiring experienced full-time Industrial Butchers to join our production team.

Positions information:

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Positions available: 3

Location: 44 Milner Ave, Scarborough, ON M1S 3P8

Terms of employment: Full-time permanent position (shift schedule) 35-40 hours/week

Salary and Compensation: $20-22/hour based on experience (10 days vacation/year or vacation pay)

Duties:

• Prepare specific meat cuts according to orders
• Prepare, clean and cut carcasses for further processing
• Work with animal blood and different parts from a butchered animal
• Debone meat, remove excess fat, bruises or other blemishes from carcass or meat portions
• Clean and remove inedible parts of meat for usage
• Prepare processed meat and poultry products for packaging.

Requirements:

-       Completion of Secondary Education required

-       Minimum 6 months experience in meat processing is required

-       Must be capable of performing physically demanding work, such as standing, lift and working in a noisy cold environment

-       Must be in good general health, clean and neat in appearance to work in a food processing plant.

-       Must be prepared to comply with all food safety regulations.

-       Be able to communicate in simple oral English is required.
