We are looking for construction labourers who will perform the folliwng duties:
Main duties
- Load and unload transport construction materials
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites
- Mix, pour and spread materials
- Assist tradespersons in construction activities
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
- Assist heavy equipment operators
- Assist in drilling and blasting rock at construction sites
- Assist in demolishing buildings
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints
Employment/Education Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Some experience as a general construction labourer may be required for construction trade helpers
- On-the-job training may be provided
Job type: Full time (40 hours per week)
Permanent position
Wage: $20.00 per hour
Language: English required
Start date: As soon as possible
