Job Duties:
Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using computerized accounting and bookkeeping systems (e.g. MS Excel and Word, QuickBooks, MarketMan, Jarvis, etc.)
Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements
Calculate and prepare cheques for utility, tax and bills (e.g. rent, insurance, invoices, Bell and internet, etc.)
Complete and submit tax remittance and workers' compensation
Prepare tax returns and perform employees' income tax returns if necessary
Prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports (e.g. P&L, financial analysis reports, inventory control, etc.)
