Dhaliwal family is looking for a full time caring, loving, and responsible and a patient caregiver for their children aged 2 & 10 years old.

. The caregiver will be working at their residence located in Mission, BC, Canada.

Job Designation: Child Caregiver

Language Preference: English

Position: Full time 40 hrs. / Week
Education: Completion of Secondary (High) School or equivalent. Course in Child Care will be an asset.
Work Setting: Employer’s Home

Wage:  C$16 .50/ hr

Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years.

Location: Mission, BC, V2V 7P6

Job duties

• Supervise the children in the absence of the parents in the home of the employer.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals to the child as per the instruction of the children.
• Bathe and make him ready.
• Clean the room of the children and do laundry as per the instructions of the employer.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment at home.
• Provide age related educational training by planning activities like games, outings to parks or garden, craft and reading.
• Make sure to limit the television time.
• May need to accompany with the employer for the doctor’s appointment.
• Instruct the children in personal hygiene
• Maintain safe and healthy environment at home.
• Make a schedule of the activities including the rest period of the child as per the instruction of the employer.
• Discipline the child as per the methods requested by the parents.
• May need to perform light housekeeping duties.
• Assume full responsibility of the home in the absence of the parents.

• Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support his social development

Please note no smoking is allowed in or around our house and we seek strictly a non-smoking person.

WAGES & BENEFITS:

• Full time and permanent position, works 40 hrs. per week
• Vacation pay of 4% of wages per year or 10 days paid vacation.
• Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. (Note: This is not a condition of employment.)
