Human Resources is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist.
Location: Milton, Ontario
Remenuration: CAD $50.00 hourly, 40 hours per week
Details: Permanent, Early morning
Start Date: As soon as possible
We are looking for a candidate that will support the management and delivery of all aspects of Human Resource services and be the front-line contact to employees and management. The incumbent will be accountable for delivering human resources support and handling day-to-day human resources responsibilities. In this position you play an essential and key role in the success of the organization. The successful candidate should have strong HR capabilities; be passionate about the process, performance, collaboration and inspire a happy and productive team culture. Tasks
• Touch of several areas of human resources including but not limited to health and safety, payroll, benefits, performance management, progressive discipline, recruitment, and administration.
• Develop and implement human resources strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Manage the recruitment and selection process.
• Oversee company trainings and professional development programs to employees, inclusive of implementing SOP's.
• Support the development and implementation of a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
• Review and audit employee data regularly to ensure accuracy of internal systems.
• Support employees when any human resource issues or queries arise. Advantages

• Bachelor’s in human resources management, talent Management, organizational development, employee relations, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources Management role.
• At least 2 years of construction HR experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Efficient in Microsoft Office. Desired profile
• Ability to work independently as well as with others.
• Excellent people skills.
• Able to wear different hats and support payroll and admin when required.
• High level of autonomy and self-motivation and ability to lead project to a successful completion.
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
• Working towards CHRP designation is an asset.
