Job Responsibilities:
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measuring ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
• Maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards in the work area.
• Verifying that prepared food meets requirement for quality and quantity.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with regulatory agency standard plus for all organizational policies.
• Maintain proper temperature of food line items as per regulatory board and provide efficient serving
line for same
• Checking cleanliness and proper storage of food and equipment in all areas of food production.
• Figuring out what quantity of food will be needed for a specified period and accordingly plan.
• Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed.
• Performing general kitchen duties and other tasks as employer requires.
• Instruct and train staff in preparation of dishes when required.
• Reordering stock and food supplies.
• Providing feedback to management for improving the meal service
