Role Description
- Meeting and greeting the guest as they arrive, register arriving guests and assign rooms.
- Process group arrivals and departures, ensure the entries are done as per standard rules and regulations.
- Take, cancel and change room reservations.
- Providing information on hotel facilities and services.
- Ensuring guests have a comfortable stay; everything that they need from towels to food is provided to them in time.
- Taking reservations, answering guest questions, recommending local attractions to guests, and answering phone calls.
- Processing guest departures, arranging for transportation, if needed, generating invoices and receiving payments.
- Keeping up to date record of cash balances, preparing cash reports and related forms.
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments.
- Performing clerical duties (i.e. faxing, scanning, photocopying)
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties and to ensure the front desk is well maintained.
Role Eligibility
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
- Any experience in similar role is an added advantage
- Should know basic computer knowledge (MS Office, MS Access, Excel), data software, bookkeeping system.
- Good English communication and writing skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
- Should have cheerful personality to greet and meet the customers.
- Should be able to work for long standing hours and physically demanding.
Salary & hours
$13.50 to $15.00 / hour (To be negotiated)
40 to 48 hours / week
Location - Morden, MB R6M 1G3
