Education and Experience: Completion of college diploma in food service administration or related discipline or equivalent experience is required.
Language requirement: English
Hours per week: 35-44 hours per week, 8 hours a day, Days,evenings,weekends,overnight,flexible timing
Job Terms/Position type: Permanent Full-time
Wages: $ 17.10/hr
Job duties:

Coordinating and supervising activities of staff who prepare meals
-
Assign workstations and manage breaks
-
Preparing schedule and roster for staff and addressing staffing concerns
-
Maintaining records of sales, stock,and wastage
-
Planning and ordering ingredients and supplies required for inventory
-
Effective use of operating system to balance key goals of speed,food quality and cost management
-
Ensuring that food and quality of service meets the standards set by Food Services Code and governed by Public Health Ontario

Training and monitoring staff in their job duties , sanitation and safety procedures
-
Establishing standards for personnel performance and customer service
-
Addressing any customer complaints regarding food quality and service
-
Completes various tasks as requested by management that may include but is not limited to: daily and weekly paperwork, inventory, purchasing
Employment requirements:

Completion of college diploma or equivalent experience

Ability to communicate effectively in English

Ability to deal with a variety of people:customers,staff, and management

Responsible,reliable and honest
-
Ability to make quick decisions under stressful conditions

Valid Food Safe Certificate or agree to obtain within 6 months of starting work

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to do some heavy lifting
