Able to work under head cook in the preparation of desserts, entrees, vegetables, breads and salads following traditional Sri Lankan recipes in fusion style for catering and take out dinners.
Applicant should have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for cooking to be reliable and a lexible team player.
Help ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen to complete with health and safety standards.
Maintain an inventory of necessary food items on an up to date basis.
Prefer applicant to have minimum of high school and able to communicate in English.
work 35 - 40 hours per week from 10 am to 6 pm with two days off mid week.
Employer willing to provide free room and board for suitable candidate.
Salary is $16.50 per hour.
Position available as soon as possible to applicant with pleasant manner to deal with customers and take phone orders for catering for indidual take out orders as well as larger catering orders for weddings and celebrations.
