Officer, Health & Safety

Wages: C$35.90/hr (40hrs/Wk.) Permanent full-time with Medical Insurance Coverage & Workplace Safety Insurance Coverage

Work location: # North York, ON M3C 3N6

Language of work:  English

Employment requirement:

- Experience - 2 years to less than three years

- Languages: English

 Responsibilities:

• Manage and participate in workplace safety audits and investigations.
• Initiate and participate in workplace inspections to ensure that equipment, materials, and production processes do not threaten employees' safety or health.
• Implement a health and safety program, including standard operating procedures, policies, and training to mitigate risk, optimize worker health and safety, and promote a positive culture of occupational safety and health.
• Educate employers, employees, and clients on workplace safety issues.
• Promote health and safety compliance by communicating, engaging, and influencing decision-makers and workers.
