CK AUTO SERVICES INC. is a mechanic shop located in Markham, Ontario, offering services to all type of vehicles, hybrid and electric cars.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting with company director and manager, analyzing clients’ preferences to determine event needs in purpose of promoting company brand, retaining and strengthening customer relationships.
• Planning events' range and structure, developing and managing event budgets, including negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
• Selecting and reserving event venues, including arranging catering, seating, and decorations.
• Coordinating with speakers, entertainers, and other performers.
• Creating and distributing event invitations/ promotional material and managing RSVPs.
• Managing event accommodations, such as transportation, parking, and security.
• Creating and implementing event timelines and schedules.
• Overseeing event set-up and breakdown.
• Managing on-site event staff, including coordinating and delegating responsibilities.
• Troubleshooting any issues that arise during events.
• Reviewing and evaluating administrative processes and progress of events.
• Maintaining financial records, including reviewing billing and authorizing payments.
• Providing evaluation reports for further enhancements in event coordination.

Requirements:

Education

• A university degree or college diploma in business, tourism or hospitality administration

Work Experience

• Minimum of 1-year work experience as event coordinator or related experience

Language

•   Effective English skills both written and verbal

Technical Acumen

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

Job Type: Full-time (32 hours/week), permanent

Salary: $26.5 hourly
