“1236566 B.C Ltd.” a transportation company based at 106 Stocks Crescent, Penticton, British Columbia – V2A 8J2 is in the urgent need of Three (03) Full-time, permanent Long-Haul truck drivers (NOC 7411/7511).

Wages: $27/hours, 50 hours per week + 4% vacation pay will be paid on each schedule pay cheque.

Job Location: Various locations across Canada & USA with business based on 106 Stocks Crescent, Penticton, British Columbia – V2A 8J2

Job Duties:

• Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes and cold storage
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods
• Deliver freights in good condition and within scheduled time
• Use a handheld device to scan documents and freights
• Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or pallet truck
• Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
• Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
• Report on all safety hazards and accidents
• Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• May perform emergency roadside repairs
• Additional Duties as required.

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Medical exam etc.

Requirements:

• Completion of High school is required.
• No experience required. Any previous experience would be an asset
• Basic Knowledge of English language is required.

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's License (Class 1, A or equivalent driving license or must be able to obtain one, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement required.
