Job Title: Camp Counsellor

• Hourly Rate: $21.00/Hr
• Vacancy: 1
• Terms of employment: Contract 24 months at 32 hours / week
• Benefits:Other benefits

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 7 months  to 1 year
• Applicant has First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Security and Safety:Criminal Record Check, Medical Examination
• Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available
• Work Location:Employer's Address
• Supervision: 5 to 10 people

Job Responsibilities:

• Instruct groups and individuals in arts and crafts
• Assist with special events
• Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs
• Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities
• Train and supervise staff
• Schedule activities, keep logs, maintain records and prepare reports
• Leading and/or instructing groups or individuals
• Patrolling/supervising activities
• Provide lifestyle awareness information
• Assist clients/guest with special needs
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required
