Type of Truck: Dump Truck

Position: Full-time (38 hours per week)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 3-5 years of experience

Work Setting: Various locations

Responsibilities

-          Load and unload goods

-          Perform roadside emergency repairs

-          Perform pre-trip, en route and post trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

-          Perform preventative maintenance

-          Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Certifications

-          Valid DZ, AZ, CZ, or BZ class license (holding one of these Driver’s licences is necessary)

Additional Skills

-          Ability to drive an 18-speed manual transmission vehicle and stick

-          Must be able to operate tri-axle dump truck and a pony pup with a dump truck

Documentation Knowledge

-          Accident or incident reports

-          Driver logbook

-          Inspection report (pre-trip, en route, post-trip)
