Location: Calgary, Alberta T3J 5H3
Salary: $34.11 per hour for 35 hours a week
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Writing job descriptions and placing advertisements on various job sites.
- Advising line managers and other employees on company's policies and procedures.
- Organize orientation for new employees and arrange training for existing employees as and when required.
- Monitoring employee performance.
- Ensuring that all employees are organized and satisfied in their work environment.
- Assist CEO and other managers with determining eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
- Provide information or services such as employee assistance, counseling and recognition programs.
- Assist in administering payroll and maintain employee records.
- Create and implement effective on boarding plans.
- Assist in performance management processes for business
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and on terms and conditions of employment
- Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and transfers, redeployment and placement of personnel
- Assist in Recruiting graduates of colleges, universities and other educational institutions
- Assist and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
- Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
Eligibility:
- College/CEGEP level education
- Experiences of 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar position (in HR) is required
- Strong command over English communication and written skills to prepare and present reports
- A reliable employee who is able to organize and administer recruitment operations
- Able to prioritize work as per given deadlines and submit work
- Able to provide judgements and advise for recruitment processes
- Strong command over computer applications such as MS Office, MS Word, MS Access and MS PowerPoint
