We are looking for a:

Welding / Materials Expert
An Experienced Welding / Materials Engineering Expert / Consultant with extensive experience in welding as relates to pressure vessels, pipelines, and structural welding.

The Welding Consultant must be skilled in the application of ASME codes, API, Structural codes (ASCE, ACI, AISC), Welding CWI, CWB, AW and other standards.

Very familiar at QA/QC of all piping/structural-related project documentations.

Functions would include:

• Review of WPS, PQR, and Weld map using various codes and standards e.g., ASME
• Sec. IX, AWS D 1.1, 1.6, CSA W59 and W47 and maintains the checklist for each WPS.
• Preparation of Material selection diagram (MSD) and Material selection report.
• Fabrication related NCR review / support /resolution for across project.
• Review of NDE report/procedure.
• Review of MTR, MTR issue/resolution/support.
• Perform materials failure investigation & root cause analysis, and lead/coordinate expert
• review workshops.
• Professional Engineer (P. Eng) would be an asset.
• Candidate with corrosion engineering experience would be an asset.
