Job Title: Thai Massager (NOC 65229)

Terms of Employment: 30-40 hours per week, Full-time/Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Wage: $20.00-24.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

No of Positions: 3

Job Duties:

• Promote a warm, relaxed environment to ensure the maximum benefits for clients.
• Assess clients for special needs and conditions before performing services.
• Explain to clients the benefits of Thai massage.
• Perform body massage and foot massage using Thai massage techniques.
• Treat soft tissues and joints of the body through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques
• Keep records of treatments provided to clients.
• Maintain massage room hygiene and ensure rooms are ready prior to service according to company’s policies and health standards.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Education

• No formal education required, if candidates have already had 6 months on the job training combined with the minimum of 1 year experience, as a Thai Massager

OR

• Completion of high school

OR

• Completion of a College or non-university certificate or diploma or training certificate from a program in Thai massage

Experience:

A minimum of 1-year experience is required and/or less experience would be considered for candidates who have completed a college or non-university certificate or diploma or training certificate from a program in Thai massage.

Language: English
