Job Title: Food Counter Attendant (NOC 65201)

Terms of Employment: 30-40 hours per week, Full-Time/Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Wage: $13.00-15.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Job Duties:

• Answer phone, and take customers' orders on phone or in-person
• Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items
• Portion and wrap foods
• Package take-out food
• Receive Payment for food items purchased
• Keep records of the quantities of food used
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs,
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables,
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars
• Clean and sanitize items such as counters, dishwasher mats, carts.
• Place dishes in kitchen and storage areas

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Education: No formal education is required

Experience: No experience required; training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Language: Ability to communicate English is required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods.
