Thompson Hotel Ltd. located at 650 Victoria St, Kamloops, BC - V2C 2B4 is currently hiring for One Hotel Front Desk Clerk (NOC: 6525) to join their team.
The position available is full-time position for 40 hrs. per week. Wages offered for the position are $16.00/hr. + 4% of Vacation pay.
Requirements:
- Completion of High School education is required. Any related education would be considered an asset.
- No experience require. But if you have any it would be considered an asset. On job training will be provided.
- Knowledge of English Language
Job responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet customers.
- Respond to all incoming calls and customers queries.
- Make room reservation, cancellation, confirmations etc.
- Receive payments via cash and cash.
- Maintain all the records of guests through guests registers and online systems.
- Assist and handle customers complains.
- Make sure front desk area is fully managed, neat and tidy.
- Perform other duties as requested or advised by Supervisor.
- Process group arrivals and departures
Work conditions:
- Must be punctual
- Must be able work in all shifts such Morning, evening etc.
- Must be able to work long hours with repetitive tasks.
