We are looking for 1 caring, responsible and experienced home support worker to give support to a person with high medical needs. You must be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well presented to be eligible for this position.

Wage: $21 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Main Duties of the job:

• Provide care and companionship
• Administer bedside and personal care such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing
• Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and assist in feeding
• Perform routine health-related duties such as measuring blood pressure
• Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds

Employment Requirement:

• Completion of secondary education is required
• Home management experience is an asset
• College or other courses in home support is an asset
• First aid certification is an asset
• Completion of a training program in care of the elderly, care of persons with disabilities, convalescent care or in a related field is an asset
• Security and Safety: Back Check Police Certificate is required
