Location:                                          182 Main Street North, Alexandria, ON K0C 1A0

Salary:                                               18.70 per hour

Terms of employment:                     Permanent employment, Full time, 35 hours per week

Start date:                                        As soon as possible

Job Requirements

Languages:                                       English

Education:                                        Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:                                      7 months to less than 1 year

Ability to supervise:                       1 to 2 people

Responsibilities

• Supervise cashiers or stockers in performing duties.
• Assist Owner in hiring and training team members.
• Assign cashiers or shelf stockers to duties.
• Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale and monitor supply shortages.
• Assist in preparing work schedules according to business needs.
• Sell merchandise and authorize returns when required.
• Authorize payments when a customer pays by cheque.
• Monitor product levels and assist with product orders and inventory as required.
• Resolve customer complaints and rectify issues to provide the highest level of satisfaction.
• Prepare business reports and submit them to the owner on regular basis.
