We are currently in search of a highly motivated Procurement Manager to join our team. As a Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our procurement processes, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to support our organization's success.The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills and will be dedicated to ensuring that our company functions at its best.

Employment Type:  Full-time, Permanent 

Responsibilities:

• Plan and control budget and expenditures

• Hire, train, direct and motivate staff

• Plan, develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures

• Manage contracts

• Review and process claims against suppliers

• Oversee the analysis of data and information

• Oversee the preparation of reports

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

Language Requirements: English

Education: 

• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience: 

• 3 years to less than 5 years

Wage: 

• 30.00 hourly; 40 hours per Week

• Overtime after 44 hours

Work setting:

• Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre

Budgetary responsibility:

• $100,001 - $500,000

Supervision

• 5-10 people
