Permanent Full-Time Food Service Supervisor wanted for a busy “EDO JAPAN” (Dragon Holdings Ltd.) located at #235, 130 Country Village Road NE Calgary AB T3K 6B8.  The wage rate is $17.00 per hour and work 30 to 44 hours per week. Benefits include 50% off employee meals, 4% vacation pay and continuous learning opportunity.

JOB DUTIES

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff in the daily operation of the fast-food restaurant.
• Respond to customers in a friendly manner with an appropriate sense of urgency.
• Responsible for shift cash procedures.
• Maintain records of stocks, weekly sales reports, and wastage.
• Manage and estimate the restaurant’s inventory and replenish supplies by ordering from our suppliers as often as necessary.
• Entertain customers’ complaints and take prompt action to resolve the issues.
• Ensure that the food and service meet good quality standards.
• Train staffs with their job duties.

Skills Requirements: Excellent customer service, Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use.

Education Required: Completion of secondary school 

Work Experience Required: 7 months to less than 1 year of previous experience directly related to any food service.

Personal Suitability: Effective Interpersonal Skills, Team Player, Excellent Oral Communication, Flexibility, Must be willing and able to work weekends.
