 Duties:

• Replace, adjust and repair parts of commercial transport truck system indulging engine and drive train, air brakes, chassis, steering, fuel and other electrical and electronic systems.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work.
• Inspect trucks to detect faults and malfunctions and diagnose to determine

extent of repair required.

• Service, repair, and maintenance of equipment such as chassis, frame, body, engine, air brakes, steering, and fuel.
• Replace parts, valves, bearings, and gears as needed and repair vehicle cooling and heating systems.
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor.
• Perform routine maintenance on trucks, such as checking batteries and changing oil to ensure proper vehicle running.
• Test drive trucks before and after repairs.
