Clear Blue Farms & Nursery Inc. is looking self-motivated & hardworking Nursery Labourers for their farm located in Abbotsford, BC.

Salary: C$16.75/hr. / 40 hours per week
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Start Day: As soon as possible
Language Requirement: English

Experience: will train

Work Site Experience: Outdoor, Wet/damp, Hot

Main Duties

• Will have to clean the crop
• Clipping
• Tying
• De-leafing
• Mix and prepare the soil
• Tying the crops
• Plan the bud or seeds.
• May need to re-pot plants
• Removing weeds
• Assist in pruning the trees, shrubs and plants
• Mix and prepare the soil
• Apply fertilizers
• Check the crop and report if any signs of insect or disease damage found
• Clean the work area
• Water and care for plants.
• Clean the work area.
• Be able to lift approx 45 lbs. or more.
  
  Working conditions and physical capabilities: Must be able to prepare to perform physically demanding tasks as part of daily routine, Repetitive task, Handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling and Hand-eye co-ordination.
