Vacancy: In home Caregiver – for a child

Salary: $17.00 hourly

Hours: 40 per week (Work schedule and days off of employee will be arranged biweekly based on the work schedule of employer)

Position: Full Time Permanent

Language: Basic English is required

Start date: As soon as possible

Experience: 1 Year of experience in Caregiving for Children or minimum 6 months of college diploma in caregiving.

Minimum Education: Completion of secondary school

Duties/responsibility:

• Supervise and care for  a child at employer's  residence
• Oversee child's activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by  parents
• Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development
• Tend to the emotional well­being of child
• Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents
• Organize and participate in activities such as games, outings to provide amusement and exercise
• Plan, prepare and serve meals for child
• Maintain a healthy environment in the home
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding child.
