Machinist

XL Tool Inc. is currently seeking an experienced professional Machinist to join their growing team. XL Tool Inc. is a ISO 9001:2015 certified Tool & Die, and Custom Machining business supplying the Automotive, Nuclear, and Power generation industry. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• CNC Machine effectively and efficiently in a custom machining environment

• Ability to program CNC machines and make decisions and edit programs as needed

• Ability to work on CNC 3/4/5 axis milling centre

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with GD&T & specifications.

• Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools

• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precision measuring instruments

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 2 years of relatable work experience required

• Knowledge CAD Software, Mastercam preferred

Salary: $28.90-35.00 / hour 

Bonus: Potential bonus of up to 15% equivalent salary based on employer discretion

Job Type: Full-time permanent, minimum 32 hours per week 

Language: At least intermediate English is required.
