Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Job Location: 4306 Victoria Drive Vancouver, BC V5N 4N5                                                                      

Number of openings: 1

Wage: $20.00 per hour

Hours: 30 To 40 Hours per week

Language: English

Job Description:

• Support early childhood educators and supervisors in implementing programs for children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

• Engage children in activities such as sharing stories, teaching songs, and organizing crafts.

• Arrange rooms and furniture for meals and rest periods and prepare snacks.

• Help children in developing proper eating, dressing, and bathroom habits.

• Make reports on children's behavior and development to educators or supervisors.

• Maintain daycare equipment and assist with housekeeping and cooking.

• Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address concerns.

• Assist ECE and/or Supervisor as per the need.

Employment Requirements:

• Completion of ECEA certificate program
• BC ECEA Certificate
• Experience is an asset
• First Aid Certificate
• Criminal record check is required
