Job description

Start Day: As soon as possible

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Constructs, erects, installs, maintains and repairs structures and components of structures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
• Skills in cutting and building stairs
• Schedule and coordinate work on site
• Supervise other workers

• Working experience with hand tools, wood measure, cut, shape, assemble structures and join materials made of composite/PVC, wood, to install stairs and other custom structures

Qualifications and Skills:

• Good communication skills and leadership qualities
• Self-motivated and team player
• Works well with others and able to take on a leadership role

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Minimum experience required (3+ years)
• Ability to work standing for extended periods
• Able to work within tight deadlines

• Experience with and knowledge of most Carpentry tools
