Welder

Salary 27.00/h, full time: 40 hours per week, regular, permanent

Job requirements; 2-3 years of work experience, experience with Arc welding machine, Gas welding machine, soldering machine, skilled in Oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Flux core arc welding (FCAW), Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination.

Duties: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications, Interpret welding process specifications, operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines, fit, braze and torch-straighten metal,  custom fabrication, structural construction, factory assembly, cast iron and other metals, ornamental work, fencing, balconies, stairs and railings ,  stainless steel, steel, iron and heavy metals, aluminum alloys, copper and copper alloys, non-ferrous materials.

In institutional, commercial, industrial, residential buildings.
