JBR Staffing Solutions, located in New Westminster, BC are currently looking for an experienced, reliable and organized candidate to join our team as soon as possible on a full-time basis and fulfill the role of Human resources officer.

Wage Rate: $ 29.50 per hour, for 40 hours per week

Over Time Wage: $ 44.25 per hour after 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week

Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Number of Vacancies: 1

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Requirements:
• Languages: English
• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Job Duties:
• Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
• Prepare and post notices and advertisements
• Collect and screen applicants
• Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
• Review candidate inventories
• Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
• Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
• Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
• Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
