General Information

 1)      Location: Etobicoke, ON, M9W 5Z2

2)      Salary Range: $28.50 to $30.00 / hour (To be negotiated)

4)      Employment Type: Permanent Employment and Full Time

5)      Work Hours: 30 hours / week

6)      When to Start: As soon as possible

 

Job Requirements

1)      Languages: English.

2)      Education: College/CEGEP.

3)      Related Experience: more than 3 year.

4)      Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Tight deadlines; Handling heavy loads; Attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities

1)      Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, and collect and screen applications

2)      Advise job applicants on employment requirements and on terms and conditions of employment

3)      Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and transfers, redeployment and placement of personnel

4)      Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates

5)      Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers

6)      Determine eligibility to entitlements, arrange staff training and provide information or services such as employee assistance, counselling and recognition programs

7)      May manage and follow up on the opening of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) files

8)      May supervise personnel clerks performing filing and record-keeping duties.
