Education : College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Work site environment:Odours, Hot,Wet/damp
Work setting : Food service establishment, Restaurant
Personal suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Team player
Certificates,
Licences :First Aid Certificate, Food Safety Certificate, Must have some have previous experience in the field of employment
Tasks: Manage kitchen operations, Prepare food order summaries for chef, Establish methods to meet work schedules, Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepareand portion food,Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Hire food service staff,Ensure food service and quality control, Address customers' complaints or concerns, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales andwastage, Prepare and submit reports, Supervise and check assembly of trays, Establish work schedules
Basic security clearance
Supervision: 11-15 people, Kitchen and food service helpers
