Benjamin Towing Corp. in Coquitlam, British Columbia is one of the oldest local facilities in Tri-City. We provide superior service, personalized attention. We are currently seeing a full time Administrative Assistant to join our team.

Position: Administrative Assistant

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Vacancy: 1

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $29.00/hr. / 40 hours per week
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation Certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Language: English

Location: 3050 Westwood St., Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, V3C 3L7

Administrative assistant will have to perform all of these duties:

 

  • Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices and reports prepared.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings.
  • Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages.
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing system.
  •  Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed.
  • Carry out administrative activities of establishment
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Train staff
  • May compile data, statistics and other information to support other activities.
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures.
  • Make sure towing and road side services are done at the earliest.
  • Make sure proper inflow of communication and work is delegated to the right person.
