Job Title: Wholesale Establishment Manager (NOC 60020)

Wage: $43.50/hour for 35 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
² Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, order processing, and logistics, to ensure the smooth functioning of the establishment.
² Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of employees by assigning duties, setting performance expectations, and providing guidance and support; foster a collaborative and productive work environment and provide guidance, training, and support to optimize their performance.
² Customer and Supplier Relations: Foster strong relationships with existing customers and suppliers while actively seeking new business opportunities.
² Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, financial statements, and profitability, making data-driven decisions to achieve financial goals.
² Inventory Control: Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize losses, ensure product availability, and reduce costs.
² Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analyze trends to understand consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the impact of competitors' operations on sales; use this information to make informed business decisions.
² Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including safety and environmental standards.
² Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business growth, market expansion, and increased profitability; take charge of planning, directing, and evaluating all operations within the wholesale and retail establishment or specific departments within; ensure that the business runs smoothly and efficiently.
² Merchandise Selection and Pricing: Determine the assortment of merchandise and services to be sold within the establishment; develop and implement pricing and credit policies that align with market demand and profitability goals.
² Vendor Negotiation: Source and negotiate with vendors as needed to procure merchandise for resale; maintain strong relationships with suppliers and optimize procurement processes for cost-effective inventory management.
² Customer Service Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and enhance customer service standards; address customer requests, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
² Staffing Requirements: Assess staffing needs, including recruitment, development, and retention of staff. Hire and train personnel as necessary, fostering their growth within the organization.
² Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance of the establishment, including key metrics, challenges, and opportunities.
