Food store supervisor

Salary-20.00 to 22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per Week
Terms of employment-Permanent employment, Full time
Shifts - Day, Early Morning, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, Shift, Weekend
Start date-Starts as soon as possible

Education-College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience-1 year to less than 2 years

Tasks
-Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
-Assign sales workers to duties
-Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
-Authorize payments by cheque
-Order merchandise
-Authorize return of merchandise
-Establish work schedules
-Sell merchandise
-Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
-Organize and maintain inventory
-Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
-Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
-Oversee payroll administration
-Conduct performance reviews
-Supervise office and volunteer staff
