Position: Early childhood educator assistant

Terms of Employment: Full-Time and Permanent
Wage: C$21.00/Hour
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Kids Zone Child Care Centre Ltd. is looking for an Early childhood educator assistant. The job Responsibilities are:

• Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers.
• Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
• Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
• Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts.
• Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties.
• Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
• Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
• Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
• Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, a Combination of sitting, standing, walking and Bending, crouching, kneeling
Personal suitability: Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Judgment and Team player
