Job description

Wage: $36.77 per hour + benefits according to UNION collective agreement (full-time position; 40 hours per week)

Location of Work: Various locations across the Greater Ottawa Area and Province of Ontario

Job Description:

• Formwork used in concrete construction
• Assist with the construction of temporary wooden structures and supports
• Assist with building foundations and installing shoring
• Assist with the building and installing of platforms, scaffolding, ramps and ladders
• Determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Assist with the preparation of layouts
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood materials
• Operate power tools

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of construction experience
• Ability to learn and develop practical skills
• Capable of observing all health and safety codes
