GL Landscaping Construction Inc specializes in a wide range of installation and maintenance services for both residential and commercial customers throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and York Region. Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscaping and grounds installation and maintenance workers and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
2. Plan and schedule landscaping projects, including determining the materials, equipment, and manpower required.
3. Oversee and participant in the planting, pruning, and care of trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants to ensure their health and appearance.
4. Oversee and participant in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor structures.
5. Address any issues or challenges that arise during landscaping projects, such as weather-related setbacks or equipment malfunctions.
6. Recruit, train, and manage landscaping staff, including assigning tasks and providing guidance on proper techniques and safety procedures.
7. Manage and order landscaping materials, plants, and supplies as needed.
8. Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and make cost-effective decisions to stay within budget constraints.

Qualification & Skills

1. Completion of secondary education (or higher preferred).
2. 1-2 years working experience in the relevant field.
3. Able to meet critical deadlines.
4. Attention to detail.

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Wage & Benefits

$28 per hour, based on experience and skills
