JOB DUTIES
Bookkeeper
- Create journal entries and reconcile various accounts, compile a trial balance of financial records, general ledgers, and other statements.
- Handle accounts payable, tracking the company's expenses, paying bills, and ensuring that payments are made on time.
- Reconcile the company's bank statements with its financial records to ensure that all transactions match with no discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other managers to ensure we have accurate financial information and address any discrepancies or financial concerns.
- Monitor expenses and provide financial insights to help management make informed decisions.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions, reports, and other financial documents in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and provide reports comparing actual financial performance to budgeted figures.
- Prepare and maintain tax reporting and compliance
Compensation & Hours:
Salary: $27.05 CAD Per Hour
Working hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
Overtime Rate: $40.58 per hour starting after 44 hours per week
Holiday pay: 4% of gross pay

Education Required: Minimum College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years required
