Job description

We are looking for 1 friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant for our Subway located at 1379 Sumas Way, Abbotsford BC, V2S 8M9 . This position will be full time with 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week.

The job duties the Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for are:

-Greet all the customers upon arrival and take orders

-Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables

-Keep records of the quantities of food used

-Prepare food, provide suggestions for drinks and food choices to customers

-Serve customers at counters or buffet tables

-Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances

-Use appliances such fryer, grill, oven, dispensers and other equipment to prepare fast food items

-Portion and wrap foods and package take out food

-Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

-Clearing tables and preparing spaces for next diners

No. of Position: 1

We are offering:

-$16.75 per hour

-4% vacation pay

-Overtime will be paid for any all hours more than 40 hours per week

What we need:

-Completion of secondary school is an asset but not required

-Some Food counter experience would be an asset but not required

-Basic English is required
