Job Title: Floor/Carpet layer helper (NOC 75110)

Terms of Employment:  30-40 hours per week, Full-Time/Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Wage: $23.00-$25.00 perhour (Depending on Experience)

No of Positions: 2

Job Duties:

• Load, unload and transport flooring and carpet materials.

• Mix, pour and spread materials for flooring.
• Assist tradespersons such carpet & floor layers and installers in construction activities.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Carry out regular maintenance on the equipment utilized for various tasks.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Education: No formal Education Required

Experience: No experience is required, Training will be provided to the selected candidate

*** Experience in construction, Labourer or related field would be considered an asset

Language: Basic Functional English

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Tight deadlines.
