J&J Freshlook Homes Ltd is hiring for One (01) full-time permanent Welder for their business.

Business address:32083 Hillcrest Ave suite 122 Abbotsford, BC

Work Location: Various locations as per business contract throughout lower mainland

Salary: $30.00 per hour for 40 hours per week

 Job requirements

• Completion of High School Education is required.
• Completion of a program in a related field or more than 2 years of experience in related fields is required.
• Basic English Knowledge

Work Locations: Various locations throughout the lower mainland.

 Job duties: 

• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes.
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• Welding small and large components such as copper pluming, beams, and pipelines.
• Repairing structures by reshaping, and reassembling metal components using cutting torches and hand tools.
• Operating manual or semi-automatic welding machines to join metal parts.
• Repairing worn metal products by welding on extra layers.
• Performing all necessary maintenance and repairing all equipment used in welding.
• Monitoring the welding process and adjust heat as necessary.
• Following all safety rules and quality standards.
