JOB TITLE : FARM SUPERVISOR

JOB TYPE : FULL TIME / PERMANENT ( all sort of shift work ,  , early mornings, weekends )

HOURS : 40 hours per week

WAGE RATE; 15.00 CAD PER HOUR (overtime at 1.5 after 40 hours of work )

WORK LOCATION : 4924 KING GEORGE BOULEVARD , SURREY BC V3S0L2

POSITION : 2

EDUCATION : HIGH SCHOOL

EXPERIENCE : More then 3 years of experience in farming

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Permanent , Full-Time ( year round of work )

LANGUAGE: English , basic knowledge (speak , read , write )

Type of farming : Berry , Vegetable

Job Duties for FARM SUPERVISORS :

Co-ordinate and supervise the work of General farm workers and harvesting labourers, supervise and harvest operations, perform general farm duties, supervise farm operations. Cultivate crops, irrigate fields. Supervise all farm activities .

Additional Skills: Develop work schedules and establish procedures, maintain quality control and production records & train workers.

Work conditions & Physical capabilities : Fast paced environment , work under pressure , attention to detail, combination of sitting , standing , walking , large work load

Ability to supervise : More then 6 people

Essential Skills: Problem solving , decision making , critical thinking , significant use of memory

Other Information : Candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada , must be willing to work on all shifts
