Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets is a primary responsibility.
  • Ensuring the company operates profitably by managing costs, optimizing pricing strategies, and maximizing margins.
  • Recruiting, training, and motivating the sales team to perform at their best. Employee retention and development are often key metrics.
  • Developing and managing the budget, including expenses related to staffing, marketing, and maintenance.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies, such as pricing strategies, product positioning, and sales campaigns.
  • Negotiating favorable terms with suppliers and managing vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Maintains and transfer professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant/Hotel or similar industry; attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
  • Establishes business plan by surveying demand; conferring with people in the community; identifying and evaluating competitors; preparing financial, marketing, and sales projections, analyses, and estimates.
  • Manage the day to day leadership and direction of the company, maximizing on sales and revenue and driving financial returns.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management. These reports would include key performance indicators, sales targets, and recommendations for improvement.


Eligibility Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is typically required.
  • Relevant work experience in sales and sales management is essential, ranging from 5 years or more.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in sales is crucial for this job. This includes a strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth is highly desirable.
  • One should have strong leadership abilities and the capacity to manage and motivate a sales team effectively. This includes skills in team building, coaching, and performance management.
  • This role involves developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives. Strong strategic thinking abilities are important, including the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.
  • Effective English communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with internal teams, senior management, clients, and stakeholders. This includes excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
